ONE Cook is required for an immediate start at Lisgarel, Larne. This position is 30 hours per week, worked on a rota basis, which may include working weekends. Typical working hours will be between 8am and 6pm. This is a Band 3 position, with the rate of pay being between £12.75 up to £21.55 per hour, depending on shift. This is a temporary position for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extensions. The main duties of this role will include:
- Preparing and cooking meals in line with set menus and dietary requirements.
- Ensuring food is prepared, cooked, and served to a high standard.
- Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.
- Receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues, as required.
- Assisting with additional catering duties to support the service.
What we need from you
- Previous experience working with a Catering setting.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced Access NI Check.
- Must be able to complete 1 day of online training (held online every Wednesday).
