This is a great opportunity to get involved in issues that really matter in your area, and to make a real difference to people’s lives, livelihoods and the local environment. What’s more, it’s a chance to gain new skills and experience, and to build your professional network.
RFCCs typically meet four times a year. We’ll send you a briefing pack to read before each meeting. These roles are unpaid, but we cover reasonable expenses including travel and subsistence costs.
What do I need?

have an active interest in flood and coastal risk management
·
can represent the interests of communities across their region
·
are impartial and not representatives of any particular organisation
·
come from a diverse range of backgrounds
